Figari Sud-Corse Airport (IATA code: FSC) is the only airport in the far south of Corsica (Extrême-Sud) and the sole air gateway to this micro-region. The main airport of Corse-du-Sud is Ajaccio-Napoléon Bonaparte (AJA), but for reaching Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio or the south of the island, Figari is the essential entry point. Located 25 kilometres from Taxi to Porto-Vecchio and just 20 kilometres from Taxi to Bonifacio, it handles the bulk of summer tourist traffic to Corse-du-Sud. During peak season (July–August), dozens of flights arrive every day, mainly from Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and major European cities.

Unlike the large mainland airports, Figari has no reliable public transport network to tourist destinations. No regular shuttle, no train, no metro. A taxi is the most natural, most direct and most widely used solution to reach your accommodation.
